To improve the cancer experience for people Blue Dot Army has created the following initiatives:

1. Teamed up with Chemo@home and our first Blue Dot Hotel (Metro Hotel Perth), to offer an alternative to in-hospital treatment. The aim is to create an ‘at home’ nurturing environment for the cancer treatment, administered by a registered nurse from chemo@home.
   
   The hotel experience allows people to have treatment in their room, lessening the risk of infection (in some patients), and avoiding costs such as parking and transport.
   
   
2. As part of our Blue Dot Concierge program, we have teamed up with the professional services of 5D Clinics Cyberknife, a leading edge radiation treatment provider based in Perth.

Our Concierge program assists people with travel arrangements (if required) accommodation and transport. We also provide a dedicated support person to help navigate the practical aspects of the treatment program allowing the patient to rest and recover.
